This is the Dumbbell Nebula (and the spelling seems wrong to me too!) in the constellation Vulpecula, numbered by Messier as M27. It's a planetary nebula, meaning that it is a gas cloud surrounding a star - in this case a white dwarf. It's 1360 light years away. The white dwarf wasn't a white dwarf until it expolded and threw out this cloud of solar matter about 14000 years ago - and the cloud is still expanding. It's up to around 1.5light years across.

This image is the result of 2 all-night sessions a week apart. There's about 7 hours of exposure time in this image (60 frames at 400 seconds each) plus a dozen or so frames that were rejected by QA.
